The 5th Annual Family, Fur & Fun Festival is Saturday, October 8th, from 10am-3pm at Exploration Peak Park in Mountain's Edge. Highlights include kids earning Animal Hero Badges by participating in fun, educational activities while they learn about animals and their care, as well as $5 microchip IDs on-site courtesy of Aloha Animal Hospital, rescued dogs for adoption from Nevada SPCA, and so much more. Each year approximately 6,000 animal lovers of all ages attend, many with their dogs (on leash), to celebrate animal rescue and enjoy a day in the park.
A top draw at the Festival each year is Pet'ographique's professional pet portraits. This is an opportunity to get a professional portrait of your loved ones at low cost, all while supporting Nevada SPCA's rescue work. (Only $20 for 5"x7" and $25 for 8"x10".)
